Marshmallow has traditionally been used to soothe irritated respiratory airways.*
Althaea officinalis is a perennial herb native to Europe, North Africa, and Asia, commonly found in marshes, wetlands, and along riverbanks, characterized by its tall stature, soft, velvety leaves, and white or pink flowers.
Its roots and leaves contain high levels of mucilage, which historically was used to make the original marshmallow confectionery before commercial processes replaced the plant-based ingredient.

Active Ingredients — organic marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis)

Inactive Ingredients — kosher vegetable glycerin and purified water

Suggested Use

Shake well before use. Take 2 mL (40 drops) with 8 oz of water 2-4 times daily. Best when taken between meals. Orally administered medications should be taken 1 hour before use or several hours after, as this product may slow absorption.
